the container we create together

at moon nectar, we view our retreats as sacred containers held by mutual respect and clear understanding. these terms represent not just legal protections but a covenant between us—a foundation of trust that allows transformative experiences to unfold safely for all.

reservation & payment

full payment
full payment is due 111 days prior to retreat start date.

understanding our small business reality
as a small, heart-centered business, we make significant financial commitments to secure your retreat experience—from venue reservations to staff arrangements to food preparation. these commitments are made months in advance and cannot be undone.

therefore, we cannot offer any refunds, all sales are final. we genuinely appreciate your understanding of this necessary policy that allows us to continue offering these sacred experiences.

cancellation policy

if you need to cancel

  • we understand that life happens, and we ask that you honor this sacred offering with your clear intent. please read with love:

    • if you cancel within 7 days of booking, you may receive a full refund minus the deposit (if any).

    • cancellations made are non-refundable, and the full balance is required. may be eligible for a credit toward a future retreat (to be used within 1 year), but an additional nightly fee may apply to cover costs incurred.

    rescheduling & Credit

    if you choose to receive a credit, you must select a new retreat within 60 days of cancellation. We will lovingly provide a list of upcoming offerings to help guide your journey forward. Every retreat is lovingly crafted with intention, and each spot is a sacred space held just for you. this policy allows us to maintain the integrity of our intimate group while honoring the energy it takes to create this experience

  • due to retreat centers’ refund policies, we cannot offer any refunds, transfers or credits for cancellations for any reason (including legitimate ones like illness, injury, family deaths or emergencies). no refunds or credits for failure to attend or failure to complete the retreat.

if we need to cancel
in the rare event that moon nectar must cancel a retreat due to insufficient enrollment, natural disasters, or other circumstances beyond our control, you will receive a full refund including deposit, or the option to transfer to another retreat at Moon Nectar’s discretion. however, moon nectar cannot be held responsible for non-refundable travel expenses. we highly recommend purchasing travel insurance.

retreat transfer

your retreat reservation is non-transferable to another person. in some circumstances, we may consider allowing you to transfer your payment to a future retreat (within 12 months), minus a $250 administrative fee, provided you notify us more than 90 days before your scheduled retreat.

maintaining the sacred container

honoring the collective experience
each retreat is carefully curated to create a sanctuary of trust, presence, and mutual respect. to protect this container for all participants:

moon nectar reserves the right to ask any participant to leave the retreat without refund if their behavior:

  • disrupts the retreat environment for other participants

  • violates the practice of silence (during silent retreats)

  • demonstrates disrespect toward facilitators, staff, or other participants

  • involves use of recreational drugs or excessive alcohol

  • threatens the safety or wellbeing of any person present

  • cooks animal products in the home

this policy is enforced with deep compassion, and only when necessary to maintain the integrity of the experience for the entire group.

health considerations
retreat participants are responsible for:

  • disclosing pre-existing physical or psychological conditions

  • bringing necessary medications and managing their own health needs

  • understanding that our retreats may not be suitable for those with certain medical conditions

moon nectar is not responsible for medical treatment or diagnosis. while basic first aid is available, we are not equipped to handle medical emergencies beyond arranging transportation to medical facilities.

media & privacy

photography & recordings
we may capture photographs or videos during retreats for promotional purposes. by participating, you grant moon nectar permission to use images or recordings in which you may appear. if you prefer not to be photographed, please notify us in writing before the retreat.

confidentiality
what is shared in our circles stays within our circles. all participants are expected to maintain the privacy of other participants' personal shares and experiences.

limitation of liability

by registering for a moon nectar retreat, you acknowledge:

  • participation in all activities is voluntary

  • moon nectar and its facilitators are not liable for personal injury or property damage

  • retreats may involve physical activities and emotional processes with inherent risks

  • you assume full responsibility for assessing and managing your own physical, emotional, and psychological well-being

force majeure

moon nectar cannot be held liable for failure to perform due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, acts of government, pandemic, civil unrest, or other emergencies.

changes to retreat program

while we carefully plan each retreat, moon nectar reserves the right to make changes to the program, schedule, or facilitators if circumstances require. such changes do not constitute grounds for refunds.

agreement

by submitting your application and payment for a moon nectar retreat, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms and conditions in their entirety.
